A garage, then this
The building was an automobile garage in the centre of Nyon; it is now a café-restaurant with a bike workshop under the same roof. The two halves are genuinely joined rather than themed — people leave a bike with the Atelier and eat while it is worked on.
The food
Breakfast, brunch, hot dishes, salads, wraps, cakes and snacks, made in-house and leaning local. The coffee is the reason a lot of people come in the first place, and the burgers are better than a bike café needs them to be.
The workshop
The Atelier handles repairs and servicing, which makes this a practical stop rather than a decorative one. It is also the meeting point — expect groups forming and dispersing all morning at weekends.
Good for
Breakfast before a ride along the lake. A worked lunch near the station. Coffee and cake with a bike in pieces on the other side of the room. Open Monday to Friday 08:00–18:00, weekends from 09:00.
